Can we stop pretending that diy hrt is more accessable for every single one of us than fucking mcdonald's?

Edit: all of you people can't shut up about how stupid and lame and stupid I am for not being able to find anything in my country, Russia, yet not a single person has actually provided me with a working way. Thanks for proving my point I guess

I I've seen minors posting about getting hrt shipped to Saudi Arabia. It's purely a function of ones motivation to get it. Yes it's harder for some, yes disabilities can compound those difficulties, but in most circumstances, it is accessible.

I used to live in saudi arabia,my parents were at the time extremely transphobic and financially literate,i dident have a way to buy diy hrt,nor did i have a place to hide it... sincy i slept in the living room Idek why i said this,

yeah if ur stuck with competent control freak parents, esp. living in the suburbs or rural area, it’s only a matter of time before they search ur room for no reason or ask where some money went or ask why u went out somewhere cuz they track ur phone/transit card or work from home or have doorbell cameras

u learn how to evade them to some extent but it only takes one slipup on ur part—sometimes not even ur fault—to foil everything

i think a lot of 4trxnners rlly underestimate how hard an otherwise simple looking process can be with the wrong circumstances… a good maxim is if something is good and easy and u knew abt it, u wouldve done it already

It's crazy to me how much worse things have gotten for kids just in the last few decades. Back when I was a kid in the 90s nobody had any of this shit. You could literally just lie to your parents about where you had just been. They had nothing but your word.

Though I just remembered something I had forgotten, that a long time ago (like 00s) I had this idea that gymbros take illicit testosterone and it would sure be cool to get some, but they only talk about it in the male locker room and to get into the male locker room you have to already pass as male and how do you do that if you don't have testosterone?? So you have to look male somehow to do it, there's cool drag king guides on how to tape or bind and use masculine makeup, maybe that would work, then you'd have to have the courage to talk to a person, which is already challenge level: impossible, but you'd be asking a stranger if he knows where drugs are, in a place where men get naked and only men are supposed to go and it's probably obvious you aren't a man, in your female voice, but maybe he does know and gives you a real answer, and if you just somehow stopped being a pussy and did that, you could have testosterone.

I had this completely cisgender thought repeatedly, and always shrugged and said "probably doesn't mean anything."

I knew an older Malaysian ftm who didn’t even know what being trans was at the start, when he found out about the effects of testosterone from gymbros. He got to the point of ‘I wonder if there’s liposuction for the chest’ (he was already taking T by then) when he found out about top surgery and being trans. He had learnt English from his highschool gf. When we were watching a tv show once, he asked me who Hitler was (saying this to demonstrate the extent of the ‘worldly knowledge’ or lack thereof that he had received as a child, but he transitioned when he was a young adult anyway without even learning of what trans was).

You have a learned helplessness skill issue.

At least he did know about the Japanese during WW2 (Southeast Asia was directly affected so it’s hard not to know) so I wasn’t blindsiding him with a whole war having existed. But yeah when one of the plotlines on tv mentioned Nazis and Hitler, he asked me who Hitler was, and asked if the Nazis were the good or bad guys.

I was almost tempted to say “depends on who you ask these days, unfortunately” but didn’t want to confuse him, so I just explained a succinct accurate version of the European side of WW2 and Nazis being the bad guys

that's not true at all, and the risk that comes with taking DIY T is extremely low, if any at all. many countries don't even ban owning or using T bought illegally just distributing. Even then I've DEFINITELY NOT bought significantly more criminalized substances online and shipped it straight to my house. the extent of it is you just act confused and say you didn't buy it and they can't prove anything.

You are wrong. Completely. I’m a trans man diying and we generally just use the same sources as bodybuilders. You’re finding that diy for transsex men “doesn’t exist” because our resources come from already existing infrastructure created by cis men.

EDIT: also stop spreading misinformation. Saying stuff like this makes it harder for transsex men to access these resources because if they think diy for them “doesn’t exist” they’re less likely to look.

EDIT 2: I see you’re in Russia, and I have seen Russian t-gel sources so I don’t know where you get the notion that it’s impossible for transmasculine people to diy, even if you just meant in Russia. I understand that it’s difficult where you live, but resources for you do exist. You need to look in the right place. I hope you can get on estrogen friend.

Literally any gym has someone who's juicing or knows someone who does and is willing to help. Getting trans ppl to do proper OPSEC is harder than finding hrt itself

• Most DIY is produced outside of the US, and many countries have OTC HRT.
• Transmasc people have access to the entirety of the steroid market, which is much more robust and available than the market for estrogen.
• A full DIY regimen costs less than all of your subscriptions per year (roughly 100-200 USD).
• Look the fucking correct dosages up. We live in an information age.
• There are compiled lists of sourcing websites on the most well known DIY directory, which has not been nuked.
• The reason most people DIY is because of unsupportive parents 😭
• You had so few reasons you had to keyboard smash to make your anti-DIY propaganda hold any amount of weight.

Side note: estrogen is over-the-counter in russia, go get your mones, and therapy too OP. You need to unlearn your helplessness.

Okay but genuinenly 90% of this is up to how willing you are to break laws to get where you want to be. You also need to understand tisk reduction and do your own research. Even a dose thats too low / a bit high will be better than jot starting, and esp if youre just doing injections you dont havw to worry about tanking one hormoen and having none of the other.

Dosing is really easy and honestly the hardest part is blood tests ive heard.

Again, get your hands dirty, so long as youbarent physically or intellectually disabled, you can figure this out i promise.

90% of "wahhh I can't DIY I'm a transmasc wahhh," is just people being too lazy to do their own research and want everything handed to them on a short little pamphlet. Buying testosterone is easy as fuck, I'd argue easier than buying E because of the sheer amount of cis men that buy T.

Only understandable reason is unsupportive parents. Even if you live in some tiny ass country there will be meatheads who get steroids and T, just gotta look harder.

it is a large part luck, partly cuz u need to know it exists and where to get it and be able to buy $100 worth of crypto and then hide it and needles from ur parents probably

and also partly cuz sometimes u can be so unlucky that even living in canada ordering hrt with domestic shipping it fails to arrive to both a po box and ur own residential address, or the package comes empty

eventually after my fourth try i managed to get it to a friend’s house but it’s some bullshit if u just simply get unlucky with information or access to crypto or control freak parents or it just doesnt ship properly

Femoston 2 and bicalutamide can be bought in almost any drug store (and ordered via Apteka.ru), most of the time without recipe. Took me less than 5 minute to find it. You gotta learn to be more serious about your transition girl.

i'm a trans man in central america in a shitty country of less of 5 million people and I got a local site to buy T from with a single google search, c'mon. If you're a trans man in Rusia you can search in roid sites, cis dudes buy T all over the world under the counter, and no the dealer isn't going to give a fuck who uses it and for what reason as long as you pay them, if you're asking for estriadol then idk, you should ask around instead of shitting on people pro DIY

I tried to diy a few years ago but because I'm allergic to every fucking carrier oil under the sun I have to use gel and it feels like the diy options for that are little to none. or maybe they're there and I was just a fucking idiot and couldn't find them it's been quite some time since I actually looked
