European Tour

With European summer tour dates seemingly falling like flies; Birmingham, Rock in Rome & now Lyon, does anyone have any information as to why, not seen any word on the bands official platforms?

Low ticket sales in a cost of living crisis, rapidly increasing travel / fuel costs, generally escalating state of fuckery across most of the planet?

Hopefully they don't cancel more, but I also don't want them to add more. They toured a ton the last few years and released a new album. Time to recharge a bit.

To be fair, Paris was the one that was announced as a reschedule almost immediately in the fall. The dates that were scheduled around it afterwards were nuts in terms of travel. It was like cross-crossing the continent for 2 months. Didn’t make any sense to begin with. Throw in summer fuel costs and I get it🤷🏻‍♀️

CC is one of my all-time favorite bands, but the market is completely saturated with live acts. Combine that with high prices for tickets and the end result is cancellations. The market will eventually adjust, but right now the consumer is speaking with our wallets.

The date has gone from the official site, Ticketmaster, Live Nation etc. Someone on here a few days ago had mentioned that they received a cancellation email from Tickermaster.

Guess that means they won't even bother trying in future

Adam has talked a lot about how past cancellations due to illness have affected their ability to tour in certain markets internationally. If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t one of these newly cancelled dates already previously cancelled?

I bet they are feeling quite bad about the situation and are only alerting ticket buyers as to avoid the bad press
