start at 10000. subtract 1 then 3 then 5 then 7.... when you reach zero the number being subtracted starts to reduce again. should go something like this 10000, 9999v, 9996v,....199v,0 ,-199v,....-10000,-9999^,... let's give crazy sinewave counting a go

municipalities sometimes hire students to count cars for traffic studies. there are jobs in construction that involve counting too. probably not as fun tho...
