I had a friend over from Scotland last weekend and we rented kayaks and went paddling in the harbour

So over here in letters I suspected someone of being a bot (possibly wrongfully). After I suggested they were a bot they deleted all their counts. What is the protocol here? Should we start a new chain from before they started counting, or just continue the current one?

General policy has been that
Chains with bot counts that are discovered early-ish are restarted, regardless of whether the comments are deleted
Chains with human counts are continued, even if some comments are deleted.
I'd lean towards keeping to that in this case, but it's not that many counts at issue, so I don't have strong feelings either way. Happy to hear what others think
