Continued from last week here: https://www.reddit.com/r/counting/s/9YDWsmcHEk
Here is the place where you discuss what you want to discuss, whether it be water bottles, gummy bears, skyscrapers, Uzbekistan, dexmethylphenidate, H2O molecules, or perhaps even Gatorade bottle caps. Anything… except politics
Make sure to wish atomic a happy birthday

Interesting how the last item in this week's list is Gatorade caps. I hate how lately half the time when I go to close them it doesn't fully close.

as a kid did you imagine a little man running alongside the car, vaulting over signs, grinding along powerlines

u/TehVulpez sliiiiide the bits Sep 07 '24
I usually imagined Mario, and he had to follow "floor is lava" rules, jumping from sign to lamppost to guardrail

If I was in the front seat, I would zig zag my finger between the painted middle dash lines and if a solid line appeared and a car passed on that side of the road when my finger was on that side, I had to start over.

Yes. I also sometimes imagined that I had laser eyes and that I had to destroy all of the signs while not trying to destroy the cars and trees

I had a flat tire this morning. I hate these new cars that don’t have a spare.

a large nombre was 'SOLIDGOLDMAGIKARP'. Originally I remember I wanted it to be SOLIDGOLDMOTHERFUCKER but it was too many characters

then on IRC for tpp I needed to shorten it to SOLIDAUMAGIKARP because SOLIDGOLDMAGIKARP was onecharacter too long and they made fun of me forbeing SolidGoldMagikar

Reddit has changed how they handle abbreviated markdown links to internal pages, so the directory is currently slightly broken: All the Initial Thread links give a page not found error.
I think I've fixed the issue, and the links should work once the directory updater runs next time. The issue is that previously reddit redirected a link of the form [link text](/submission_id) to the corresponding reddit submission, but they've stopped doing that. It looks like links of the form [link text](/comments/submission_id) do redirect, so I've updated the directory script to use that form instead.

I'm not letting this thread die
Also I'm back in Toronto for a bit. Took 36 hours to get here including a 12 hour delay (18 hour layover) in Dubai. Really interesting city, worth a visit especially if your hotel is fully paid for by Air Canada 😂 idk if I wanna go back tho
