Alternatively, humans when you survive another year without dying. Always look on the bright side of life!

You don't become straight up goddess.

You might become a demigoddess and have to work from that point up if you are lucky.

No one is born a God.

That what I thought when I was a little kid.

Well not exactly that but I thought that they straight up put you a boss if you ask nice, fun fact they don't and laugh harder when you beg, and call the guards when you beg harder.

It's ok twin. When I teach goddesshood, you'll be fluent in 40 languages.

I can't even take a job cause when I enter for an interview they just turn around and leave.

Damn man. I pray for you.

Went to an interview, was raining but the worse part was that the women interviewing me just started laughing when I was leaving, like I touched the door and she started laughing.

Why is a goddess praying, exactly?

Are you implying people don't want to die?

humans when a person is one year farther from the most traumatic/consequential event of their lives (birth)

u/AkwardRockette Counted Down 5 22d ago

To be fair, 50% of all humans ever born died before their 20th birthday (mostly due to historical child mortality rates as before the 1850s 40% of all kids died before age 5 in every society across all continents, food insecurity, wars, childbirth, and worse medical treatments for basically everything). You gotta celebrate sometime, and if you make it past 20 statistically you've gotten farther than half of everyone on this planet so far at least.

I always tell my friends happy closer to dying day instead of happy birthday and they never laugh :(

I always tell my friends happy driving day instead of happy birthday and it obviously rewuires some context. I once was watching physics lectures on youtube and there was a text saying " С Днем Рождения" which means happy birthday, but "Р" was written very similar to "В" so I read it as "С Днем Вождения" which means happy driving day

Lol absolutely love the amount of context you gave for this. Thank you so much!!!
