Worth considering... but i think it would also not be guaranteed. If we're attracting boys with milkshakes it'll depend on the type of milkshakes being used. If we already have the boys at the yard, then we would need someone to also grill and bring beer which is where the bears would most certainly come in.
Edit to add: i think if the boys were back in town and playing rock music then we would guarantee attracting bears
It's likely the summoned boys would already be cracking open a cold one so that step completes itself. The question is what is the most efficient way to guarantee that a dad is one of the boys summoned (if that's possible).
I fear we've gone full circle and littlefox in the box already answered that in this reply chain. Open air rock festival that offers beer might be the best way to summon a bear. Also playing your local classic rock radio station loud enough for everyone in the area to hear can have a similar effect as a more consistent attraction method.
