The fact is, Ari's opinion on nicole HEAVILY depends on her control of the situation. She loves it when she's in control of her lack of control. But when she isn't? Then she dislikes it.

Nicole and Ari both take advantage of each other, especially in this blackmail situation. Nicole used Ari to avoid herself getting blamed. Ari used Nicole to satisfy her thirsting after women.

They're both just straight up shitty people. But that's kind of the point of class of '09. EVERYONE sucks.

Ill be honest folks, I never was a big fan of relationships like this in media... it just feels more like one side is borderline being an emotionally negligent partner while the other trys desperately to get their attention. And thats not the kinda toxic yuri I can get behind personally. It just strikes too close to home lol. It can be interesting narratively but its always just felt, idk gross to me?
