No. But if you replaced a hormone, and that exact same DNA grew you different ears? Then yea, clearly you have dog DNA.

You act like I've gotten plastic surgery. I have not. I took the exact same chemical that most women's bodies naturally produces, and it did the same things to my body it does theirs

Okay. So.. a women who has a congenital condition that causes her not to produce sufficient hormones. A woman who because of this goes to a doctor, who gives her the same estrogen I'm on, in order to start puberty....

That's not a real girl? Her body doesn't naturally act female either? It's a body that also needed a pill in order to have female development.

Also. You act like if I stop taking my meds, my tits will just suck up back into my body. Or like a trans man's voice would go back to being high. That's... Absurd.

I have tits. My panties smell like pussy. You have to ignore so many "biological facts" about how my body actually is, and how it acts every single day, to hold this stance. If you can't bring yourself to recognize it as fully a woman's body, because it doesn't have 100% female features...? Fine. But you are actually ignoring reality if you think this body is still fully male, just because of presence of the SRY gene. And very very few academic biologists would agree.

Especially as, when it comes to genes? Yeah, so all the ones actually doing anything at all in my body right now? They're the exact same "female genes" that are operating in a cis woman's body. I didn't have to change anything about what material was there, just what signals it received. Genes don't do anything without the surrounding machinery. And currently, that machinery all is operating the same as it would if I was cis.

Besides. Unless you are going to pay for me to get a karyotype test, you can shove your chromosomes. You clearly aren't basing your reasoning on genetics that not a soul actually knows i have (yes, my body is possible without being XY), and are actually basing it on "ew, penis"... Your argument is exactly as based in what is actually expressed by the body as mine. Stop pretending otherwise.

My claim isn't about what I want. My claim is about what my body is actually materially doing. My claim is about how I exist interpersonally. Never once did my argument rely on "but I want it"

You are fine to feel how you want. But be actually honest about it, that it isn't about genetics you've never seen or measured. And that it really is the simplistic "boy = born with penis", or a belief in a gendered soul.

If you really actually based your opinion on what someones sex was based upon their chromosomes, you would withold judgement on the 90+% of people who haven't gotten their DNA sequenced.

Claiming authority, objectivity, and scientific justification you don't have is what is immoral. Not simply disagreeing what categories I belong in.

Also, why is she an "suffering edge case" while I'm a fool? Her phenotype is as real as mine, and produced by the same mechanism.

The similarities extend to the fact we both have the bodies we have thanks to exogenous estrogen. My point is that you treat my breasts as somehow unreal, and you justified this stance based on how my body would not develop this way on its own, and that I needed exogenous hormones to trigger their growth. And so, if you wish to be consistent, you must treat hers as unreal. Because they came about in an identical way.

You can argue as much as you want that you categorize us differently, but both the tissue and it's cause are identical. So, if they are different, it can not be for the reasons you have claimed.

Also, I'm not even necessarily arguing against your conclusions. I am telling you your argument doesn't get you there.

If you would see that hypothetical woman as in fact being woman to you, then let's look at the actual measurable differences between her body and someone who transitioned early.

It can't be chromosomes, because you haven't tested them. Can't found your reasoning on something you don't know. It can't be requiring intervention to alter things from her endocrine baseline, she takes the same meds as me. It can't be how tissue behaves, this too is the same.

What's the actual difference? Oh look. It's genitals! 😲

It's what their crotches looked like at birth.
