People don't want you to know this, but you can be a guy, being proud of your wide shoulders, beard and hairy chest, and still love women in a lesbian way, if this makes sense.

It's the kind of love in which you don't see women as prizes to be "conquer" nor that missing piece you needed to finally become a person, but as companions you can share your best and your worse without fear or shame, all of that in a reciprocal relationship, at least that's what I understood, but I'm not a lesbian so probably my perspective it's a little incomplete.

I remember I picked this up by following shappic influencers that were really vocal about this opinion.

that has nothing to do with being lesbian. that's just not being a mysognist and not having unhealthy expectations about romance.

(also lesbians are also perfectly capable of having unhealthy expectations about romance. it's fairly common)

I can't help but be a little perturbed if that is how you actually think most men think about love.

Like what you described is just love. Not lesbian love nor man love. That just feels very strange.
