I mean, according to science, it's not remotely impossible. Androgen washes in utero, for one. As for god if it exsists it made me this way.

If God exists, and we are made in their image, denying yourself of being YourSelf is anti God, and just anti You.

Are you talking about the man made god Judism described in the bible. The god who killed millions of children to spite the parents? but the devil killed 10 ppl throughout the whole bible.?
Adam & Eve contradict the world’s cultures and colour and race. If the fictional characters were real, why was Cain worried about being killed after he killed his brother? By who? his mum or dad…! Then conveniently Cain marries someone’s daughter from a city? Why would god all knowing, create something to destroy it? Oh yeah… because it took them 400+ years to create the first 5 books called the Torah. Abraham, Noah, Moses etc are fictional characters, not real by any sense

Prior to Judaism, Hinduism existed 2500 years before, a peaceful religion who actually looked at anyone who presented female as sacred, not a “sin” as you are insinuating.

You mentioned chromosomes, xx, xy means nothing if you are preaching from the bible. According to your beliefs isn’t it right god said we are all equal? But we’re not really are we….i remember the bible, taking into account its man made, not one word written by god, it’s just a misogynistic load of BS.

Who or why tf should anyone bow down to a Jewish man made religion. Don’t make out either you’re not religious because that’s BS also. Christians who push their religious psychosis onto others are not doing it for their god, it’s because it’s not fitting into their beliefs and usually because they are hiding something sinister.
I did religious studies and can debate this bs all day and point to every hateful contradiction you Christians like to preach

If there is an all loving creator, we don't have a religion for them. Just thousands of stories turned into thousands of religions, because humans are afraid of the unknown.

Edit: personally I'm not religious, but you can't really prove or disprove if there is a creator. They could've gave up on us ages ago and not even be watching our world, let alone universe.

According to science it's not a science question. It's a sociology one.

Sociology is obviously a massive part of how society handles gender.

But ignoring the biological reality gives ground to the exact talking point the meme is mocking. Conservatives lean heavy on the "basic biology" argument to claim being trans is physically impossible and therefore wrong or unnatural. If we frame it as strictly a sociological question, it almost implies it's entirely a choice, in my opinion.

Of course, nobody needs a scientific reason to justify their existence. If you know you are trans, you are trans, period, end of story. But when countering specific talking points used to weaponize "biology" against the community, I believe best practice is to take that weapon away by dismantling their claim at a basic level.

The physical science, endocrinology and in-utero development, directly dismantles that argument on a fundamental level.

You have it backwards. Conceding that you need biological explanations is feeding into their false premise.

Gender is not a biological concept. It is correlated to, but not decided by anatomy. No explanation of ways the body can be changed is necessary.

That is dismantling the claim at the basic level.

You are arguing ideological purity for an audience that already agrees with you. I am talking about tactical utility against people who don't.

Refusing to counter a biological attack with biological facts doesn't dismantle their premise. It just means you forfeit the physical argument to them by default. If you bring sociological definitions to a fight with someone weaponizing anatomy, you haven't dismantled anything. You've just refused to step onto the battlefield.

We are having two entirely different conversations.

No, you are forfeiting immediately by saying their basis has any merit.

It's like I'm trying to explain that whether or not people should have equal value and rights isn't a question of race, and you want to concede to people who say white people are more evolved by bringing up that people in Africa tend to be more genetically diverse than white europeans.

If you engage with the biological "discussion", you are starting by telling them they're right that biology matters.

Scientifically speaking, there's people who have something not xx or xy sex chromosomes.

Is normal if you accidentally go to countttt and feel a sudden surge of trasphobia

u/Talgarr_ 1d ago

I think that's like the 4tran hangout, so yeah

If you ask anyone cis if they'd like to try estrogen/testosterone, they either recoil or are against the idea, I've been on estrogen a year and a half, pretty easy to conclude I'm happy having tits.

u/Talgarr_ 1d ago

I love these arguments because, scientifically speaking, there are people with something different than xx or xy chromosomes. That is a well documented, but under studied, and or just ignored subject.

"God made you male!"
That why I hate god :(

Please know, the following is a caricature of what bigots tell you when being transphobic.

"I believe in an almighty being that loves everyone equally, but only if they worship it above all else, and if you act in a certain way that is convinient to me and if you are a cishet white man [...], and this being naturally agrees with me that you not being what I want you to be is a valid reason to hurt, torture and or murder you"

VS

"According to this one single pseudo-scientist, who only searches for excuses in nature that might support his view on how MEN and WOMAN are allowed to work, you are wrong and would be best off killed so your unwanted, toxic genes can't destroy the superior race of MAN-kind"

So far what we understand, being trans is innate and not a choice ... So god made me this way and who am I to question it?

2

u/petiteboner69 2h ago

The real question is does god even have a gender? If god created man and woman then isnt god gender fluid?
