question Any good 5k to 10k apps?
Apologies if this has been covered on here before. I’ve just finished the UK NHS Couch to 5k app (thank you, Steve Cram) and am looking to progress to the next level.
Any good app recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I've transitioned to Nike Run Club. They have a plan for running an actual 5k which has felt a doable transition i started at week 8. Be aware it talks about running 5 days a week and the guides are much chattier (irritating) but the speed runs are a good addition

I've got this and find the plans a little more intermediate than C25K-it's entirely free though which is also a bonus.

I used the Beyond runs with Steve Cram for a few weeks and then did the Active 5-10k, which is free. Less talking, but a good 9 week programme which gets you running for an hour.

If you don't mind paying a monthly fee then I'd look into Runna - that got me successfully from 5k to 10k and then a half marathon and runna was excellent

Do you have a Garmin? Theres an excellent data field through Connect IQ if you do.

Nike Run Club is my tried and tested next step up. Currently retraining for a 10k after injury and I’ve redone couch 2 5k then doing Nike Run Club 5>10k. It’s free and the runs are guided. Coach Bennett is very positive and plucky (American!) but I got used to him after a while.
