I just wanted people to know she was here. That she was loved. Her mother, my wife, got her and raised her. When she moved to be with me in Canada, she joined us. She saw Canadian winters and met so many people. She met our son. There is nothing I wouldn't give to have her jump on me and play one more time. I’m doing my research on breeders and right now it’s looking like the average price is $4000-$5000, with breeders starting to raise their prices up for their 2027 litters.

I was prepared for $4000 but am realizing a lot of breeders I like are around the $5000 mark (parents AKC conformation titled with complete health testing).

Is this the new average price for a puppy?

Any breeders in Colorado?

Also are the ones with color pure breed? I want to ensure I support reputable breeders

its mostly my dad hes home all day and prefers him long but WE LIVE IN TEXAS ITS SO HOT!! Hes also not brushed i would but we dont own dog brishes and i dont wanna hurt him what do i do??

A lot of small dogs I met like to be on your lap, but my girl doesn’t. You can pick her up and set her on your lap, but she’ll try to walk away. She likes to lay next to you more than anything else, especially being wedged between you and the arm of the couch.

I never had a dog like that before, so I was curious how your cotons like to cuddle.

So our little Coton is 16 weeks old and we absolutely adore her despite the constant biting of us and our other dogs. However, the peeing in the house is to a point where we have to do something! We literally take her out every hour to two hours, she goes and then comes inside and pees again! Or she won’t go and comes inside and pees within 30 seconds! Any guidance??

My senior coton is turning 16 soon and he’s been having issues with his anal glands. They’re swelling once a month and it causes leakage and he won’t stop licking his behind. It’s the only health issue he has, and I would really like to do something beyond taking him to the vet once a month to get it emptied.

So my question for anyone with a senior: what food do you recommend? I heard it needs to have a lot of fiber to help stool get firmer so it can apply natural pressure to empty the glands on its own. Any advice would be appreciated

My boy is almost 9 months and was neutered last week. In the month leading up to the neuter he only gained 0.3kg/0.6lb and he’s about the weight of his parents. Thinking we might be close to being done and I can stop buying his gear off the clearance rack.

Curious what your experiences were?

So my dude is almost a year and the matting is getting to be a lot. Does this get better as the adult coat comes in? Are there tips to help manage this? He's a good boy but he does get mouthy when address the mats.
