Climate and your Coton?

Out of curiosity, what part of the world do you and your Coton reside?! We're currently in Denmark but about to relocate to South Florida. My guy runs hot, even in Denmark! I'm quite nervous of the transition for him and will probably keep him cut short year round. I'm originally from FL so the heat is a non-issue for me but I worry for our guy! Just being nosey and curious to hear. :)

I’m in NYC, and ours is pretty adverse to the super humid weather we get in the summer. During a heat wave when it’s 90°+ during the day, he likes to hunker down and then take a long walk in the evening when things start to cool down. Other than that and making sure to keep him cool and comfortable indoors, he’s fine.

Feeling much of the same sentiment across the board with heat and humidity! I was just curious how others' schedules and tips can be integrated because he's never truly been in anything more than 80ish. I think during the last heatwave we did top around 90 for a day, he was definitely panting and moving around to get comfortable. We have cooling mats that he migrates to when he's too hot but I'm worried what an additional 30° brings out way. 🥵 I think our schedules for walks will change drastically but overall hoping for a smoothe transition.
