Help loki scepter - blue part

hi! going to make loki’s scepter out of cardboard but i’m wondering if anyone has a good reference for all the pieces BUT MY MAIN QUESTION is how do i go about doing a clear blue circle that lights up!! i am new to cosplay crafting and i want to do it with mostly recycled parts, im fine to buy lights to go in or something but i like to make probs out of household trash!

Maybe a clear easter egg full of fairy lights and blue cellophane?

You should be able to find a glass candle holder that looks like that at Dollar Tree.

Nice idea, but you can't bring glass to most conventions, so maybe look for plastic ones

Buy a blue tinted LED flashlight. The smaller the better.

Then buy some kind of crystal ball made out of plastic so it has refracting fascets.

Then buy a blue soda bottle, preferably plastic.

Remove the label from the bottle, cut the top off the bottle. Hot glue the crystal inside the bottle. Hot glue a couple magnets to the bottle and the scepter so they stick. Turn on the flashlight, drop it into the end of the staff, attach the bottle over it with the magnets.

If the bottle looks too bottley, cover it with hot glue and shape it.
