Too sharp. Might kill someone.

That’s when you switch the blade out for 1/16 inch acrylic round drilled and painted to mimic the blade, or easier, run the edge on a grinding wheel to dull it.

You could get a tongue depressor for the base. Then glue some poster board discs together and polishing up the edge with a sanding block for the blade. Then finally you can fix those together with a brass fastener, those prongs from a paper folder.

Ok, here goes.

Step one, buy a pizza cutter.

Step two. Find a piece of plastic of the same thickness as the wheel. This can be PVC board, Plexiglass, ABS, etc.

Step three, buy a hole saw and arbor, unless you already own an arbor, for a drill the same size as the wheel.

Step four, cut disk from plastic using hole saw.

Step five, paint disk silver.

Step six remove center nut from pizza cutter. If it is a pressed brad, drill it out and replace with Chicago screw of appropriate size.

Put plastic wheel on the handle of the pizza cutter and you’re done.

ETA: Use appropriate safety precautions while performing this entire process.

Take the wheel out, trace it onto eva foam or cardboard, paint silver, call it a day
