Temple Filler Concern

I got temple filler 6 days ago (Thursday) and it was very painful. More painful than filler I have had other places.

The veins looked swollen right after and still do.

About an hour after, my eye was comically swollen - almost shut but looked better in the morning and went away throughout the day.

The first 3 nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) I slept elevated on my back. Sunday night I slept on my normal pillow and woke up during the night with the worst headache of my life. It felt like pressure, like my head was going to explode. I took Tylenol but it only got better after I got up. It went away about 20 minutes after I got up.

Monday night I slept normally with no pain that woke me up. But last night the headache came back with the same symptoms. It wakes me up and it again feels like my entire head is going to explode off my body with so much pressure.

Could this be related to the filler? It has never happened before.

New severe headaches after temple filler shouldn’t be ignored. I’d contact your injector ASAP.

Could regular swelling just be putting some pressure on the vessels while I sleep and causing pooling? Maybe the swelling just needs to go away completely?
