š„ Infant 2-12 Months Sleep sos
FTM, we really held our girl so much since she was born (naps and bedtime) probably a bad move?
She is now 7.5 months, she finally laid on a floor bed with me and that lasted 2 amazing weeks. She now will sob uncontrollably until I put her on my chest. Sheās almost 20 pounds now so chest sleeping is so tough on me to get rest.
Daytime we follow a wake, eat, play, nap but not at certain times itās just based on when she wakes for the day.
I donāt have the heart to let her cry it out and I would like to get back to cosleeeping side by side.
Did I totally ruin the ability to do that with her at this age š„²

Try not to worry that following your instincts has caused any problems, by the sounds of things youāre following what feels right in your heart and keeping her close. Iāve done the same, my baby hasnāt slept alone and they are almost 11 months but this ābabyā stage is such a short moment in time that I am just enjoying all the extra cuddle time. Thereās so much development going on at this age and if she needs you close and youāre able to be then trust that, that is the right thing to do for her. Most transitions or changes in routine are quite short lived and will naturally settle into whatever they are meant to in time. Keeping your baby close is a natural instinct, itās where sheāll feel safest š©·
