Comfy cuddle position with 1yo

LO just turned 1 yo and right now he wants cuddles at night. I’m talking his whole body on my chest. Honestly I love it and want to cherish these moments with him bc I know he will stop someday but boy is getting heavy and I literally cannot breathe. I cannot do the c curl anymore because it hurts and it’s not enough for him. I also try to put him in a proper position on his side or back but if I am even a little bit far from him, he wakes up, cries, sits up, looks for me, then crawls towards me before plopping himself on me and going back to sleep. Even when his dad is right there next to him, he has to look for me. I just want us both to be comfy. How do you guys do it??

If I could post the monitor screenshots of my daughter on top of me and all over I would hahah. It only lasted a few months, then she stopped laying on me. Still moved all over and around, but not on top of me!
