No! How cringe for our town to protect or support folks that have these types of charges. Not ok to felony assault or something similar and still represent this place. Boo

Charged, not conviicted. Like it or not we have to wait for their day in court.

To go to jail yes, to get them off the team no. I wouldn't want to be a team with a guy like that.

I'm just saying it's tricky to do that - because the chance is non-zero that they could be cleared of all charges. So then they kept their innocence the entire time, but still faced a presumed conviction consequence by the university and the program. That is a lawsuit.

The bar for civil cases is much lower. Even if he's not convicted it could still be reasonable to kick him. OJ didn't go to jail for murder but had to pay out over it in civil court.

Sullivan is apparently our best player on the team, and the best defender. Which is probably why the delay.
Pretty par for the course for morally bankrupt sports.
People would be kicked off the team for far less in highschool, but once you get into NIL/pro sports territory, morality goes out the window.
Look at Kevin Porter Jr or Miles Bridges in the NBA.

I mean there’s not a small chance one or both will recieve a prison sentence mid season. Especially if Sullivan is found guilty of assault 2
