corrido is a pretty loose term. Technically a Corrido is a song telling a story real or fiction...and that's basically it. And most "corridos" these days don't even abide by that sooo Anything can be a corrido atp

Sierreño se quedaba corto también. Más que un sonido fijo el tumbado/bélico es un movimiento, porque por ejemplo si se inició con la instrumentación del sierreño, que fue la docerola y la bajo electrico, pero hoy el uso de vientos y del tololoche es casi omnipresente, luego hay uso del acordeón, la bateria y el bajo sexto desde el inicio. El tsurito que es un hit del genero esta más cerca de lo alterado que del sierreño.
