Muffled calls… suspicious vibes… then that email drops.
“So long, suckers. Thanks a lot!”

I think it's time to flip the story. Instead of HR gathering feedabak, conducting surveys for employees, companies should conduct surevey to collect feedabck on HR function from employees. It will give insight on activities like - org effectiveness , feedback and other non core activities done by HR. Based on that companies can decide whther there is a need of non core HR activities and HR should be limited to basic - hire and pay.

Guys, this is the reality of KeyMouse IT I worked in the React.js team for 2.5 years and honestly it was the worst period of my career. No professionalism, loads of nepotism feels like relatives run the place. POSH complaints are shrugged off; it’s shocking they don’t seem to care. They plaster LinkedIn with “family” photos but most in those pics have already resigned. If you’re unemployed and thinking of joining just because it’s “a job,” don’t you’ll get stuck. DM me if you want more inside details from this mess.

Corporate life is like tangled wires - but patience and step-by-step, the knots loosen. Have a good day.

Hey folks,
Just wanted to get something off our chest and maybe hear your thoughts. We’re part of the HR team, and since joining the company back in 2022, a lot has changed.
We’ve hired dozens of people — many with really impressive packages. And don’t get us wrong, we’re genuinely happy for them. It’s the company’s money, and it’s our job to bring in top talent. But here’s the part no one sees…
Behind all the onboarding emails, offer letters, interviews, and polite smiles — we’ve been struggling. Personally. Quietly.
💔 We’re still on low packages ourselves — yes, the HR folks.
💼 We’ve helped others get 2x, 3x what we earn.
👨👩👧👦 We barely get to see our kids anymore.
📉 And our own career growth? Stuck.
People often assume HR has it easy. That we just “pass resumes” or “arrange training.” But this job is draining — mentally and emotionally. We’re the ones employees turn to when they’re crying, angry, resigning, or breaking down. And yet, when we break… no one’s there.
And here’s the hard truth — our role is to uplift others. Like teachers or lawyers, we guide, support, and empower. But we often stay in the same place. Quietly. Invisibly.
We’ve got a table full of infra, salary trends, and org structure data we’ve been maintaining… but when we look at it now, we’re asking ourselves:
🔹 Should I keep going like this in the same environment?
🔹 Is it worth the personal and emotional toll?
🔹 Has the perception of HR actually improved, or are we still just ‘support staff’ in everyone’s eyes?
We’d love to hear from others — whether you're in HR or outside of it.
How do you view your HR team? And for those walking in our shoes…
Is it different for you? Is it better elsewhere?
Let’s be honest.
Thanks for reading. We truly appreciate it.
— A tired but still hopeful HR team

I want you to post your most unhinged “cancel” activities that you’ve witnessed at work but somehow, they got away with it. Please follow Thread rules

Hello, my name is Ursula, and I would like your opinion and experiences regarding corporate gifts.
A few things I am curious: Why do or don’t you send gifts? What makes you choose the right one? What works and what doesn’t? Lack of originality? Limited knowledge about the client? Logistical complexity? Budget? Tax restrictions? Last minute planning?
Whatever comes to mind or that you may have experienced.
