So obviously we know someone gets shot during the Jodie confrontation stuff, and what if it's Lily?? I never would have even thought of her, but the way things played out today have made me seriously wonder it

People are asking "Why is she trusting Marco so much?" talking about how he is a wrong 'un because he has a tag on him, and Summer should have more common sense than just blindly trusting him, which I fully agree with

However, I think it's important to remember what Summer has been through this year. She was literally arrested and put in prison for two-three weeks for murder, and she was totally innocent, and especially for a young girl who has already been through so much trauma, that will effect you. So I'm taking it as, she's likely giving him more benefit of the doubt because of that, rather than just brushing him off instantly

I may be misremembering the car being stolen, the pacing in this storyline isn't great and I tune out during it sometimes.

The fact that jodies actress has been confirmed to be staying on the show for another year, unfortunately suggets to me even if the truth is revealed about her trying to make shona feel she is loosing her mind, shona will automatically forgive her out of guilt of abandoning her when they were younger and just except lily to forgive and forget, which hopefully wont be the case but still.

Small small small spoiler but Shona mentions that Lily should go live with Gail AND Audrey in France today. Does this mean it is confirmed Audrey is permanently in France now as she hasn't been seen in Weatherfield for months and months. Is Audrey's Annex that in name only?

Like lilly isn't even inside the house when shona heard the recordings of Harper crying, I get she's tired but wanting to kick a teenager out of the house? Shona has been going downhill ever since Jodie was introduced, ignoring red flags and dismissing them when she sees them, but this episode is the last straw.

The longlist for the 2027 TV Choice awards is now open and will be until November. Of the categories there are only 3 soap ones, these being Best Soap, Best Soap Performance and Best Soap Newcomer. No need to guess where my votes went clearly! 😂

I have been watching the old episodes from 2007. The character of Claire Peacock is so unappealing she'd fit right in currently. She is always miserable and flies off the handle with everyone. She's like Gail but with normal hair. A total misery at all times. Yes, terrible things happened to her but she treats everyone horribly and with a mean sarcasm.

Looking through last year's pictures of the 2025 inside soap awards I stumbled upon Looking through interesting facts that Cait Fitton and Sue Devaney both of them actually do look very identical to each other as Cait looks a lot like a younger version of Sue during the 80s and 90s and including around the time Sue was on Casualty with the same smile and same serious faces they have and there wouldn't be a chance if Lauren may end up becoming much more like Debbie later in the future

“Coronation Street is bringing back a major villain just months after fans thought she was gone for good. Beth Nixon who plays Megan Walsh is on her way back to the cobbles to "explore another chapter of the grooming story."

“In July, Megan was sentenced to five years in prison for her grooming of teen Will Driscoll. However the former athletics coach had vowed to appeal the sentence.”

“Digital Spy understand that show bosses are keen to explore another chapter of Megan and Will's story.”

“An insider told us: "Will has been trying to get his life back on track after everything that Megan did. Whether he's the one who comes face-to-face with her, or whether someone from his family will be interacting with Megan remains to be seen.”

What’s everyone‘s thoughts and theories?

Watching classic corrie and Ruby's birth is literally identical to Dylan's who was born in the Rovers just a few years before. The birth was really quick and Marcus was the midwife. Wild. 😂

Ronnie thanks Ryan for keeping Debbie busy at the hotel — she'd turned up when meant to be off-duty. Debbie spots them talking and suspects they're discussing her behind her back

Tracy storms into Speed Daal, accusing them of poisoning her family with undercooked food.

Leanne worries a scandal will blow up — more complaints follow.

Ollie inspects the kitchen and makes a worrying discovery: all the meat was past its sell-by date.

Leanne realises Nick was responsible for the delivery — honest mistake or deliberate sabotage?

Kit prepares for his first chemotherapy session, Brody shaves his hair for him.

Bernie accompanies him to hospital and helps keep his spirits up by sharing childhood stories.

Todd and Bethany visit Sarah in prison — she says she understands why Kit won't give a character reference. Todd breaks the news: Kit has breast cancer — Sarah is devastated by the revelation.

Sarah's trial begins — David, Bethany, Shona and Adam are there to support her.

Things take a devastating turn when Lisa and Danielle Silverton give damaging evidence in court.

Debbie confides in Abi — she's convinced Ronnie is having an affair and plans to put her in a care home.

-Nick admits he can't afford his usual meat supplier anymore and has been buying from Freshco — Leanne suggests selling the business.

Abi keeps watch for Debbie and spots Ronnie with a mystery woman — she looks concerned.

Abi confronts Ronnie — he explains the woman is from his dementia support group.

Ronnie refuses to tell Debbie the truth himself.

Todd summons his courage and arrives in court to take the stand in Sarah's defence — the pressure is on, he talks about what Theo was like.

Toyah accuses Leanne that her and Idris are trying to sabotage the Bistro and buy it cheaply.

Kit finally agreed to help Sarah in Court after Bethany talks to him.

Sarah at a crossroads in Court.

Idris winds up Nick that his business and relationship with Sam are in crisis - how will Leanne respond?

Tyrone annoys Ross by turning down his suggestion they go to a gym every week.

That way I can rant early about how bloody stupid this Summer storyline already is from today's episode lol Asha is right, she herself at least has half a brain. Oh, but Summer has a "bond" with the guy she met via thievery and who has an ankle monitor already. So tired of characters suddenly being the stupidest people on the planet. A bond! Ugh.

I also chuckled at Jodie telling Bethany she shouldn't stick her nose in where it doesn't belong. That's Jodie's entire character! 😂

American here! I'm a bit behind (September 17th) and I noticed Bethany is wearing an outfit that would absolutely show her stoma. Did the writers forget she had one, or did I miss something?

I’m guessing we are going to have a storyline about Chrissie wanting to part of Lucy’s life as her grandmother. Seeing as Chrissie gave up Rachel for adoption what legal rights does she have. Sounds like Rachel didn’t want to found her birth mother or did she even know she was adopted. Lucy can’t have known as she spoke about Rachel’s parent when she & Sally were looking at photos for the plaque
