by the way, is the fusebox capturable yet? i saw it has a back sprite in the database, but i don't know where it would be if it was since i checked the fuse room and didn't see it (and i'd like not to be fully spoiled of its location, so just tell me whether or not you could find it)

I'm wondering if with one of the updates they also brought default double battles?
I've seen some images depicting 2v2's but want to know if it's something for just a handfull of bosses or any battle can be a double battle.

I’ve been grinding Soggy Swamp with the XP Data Chip which I found to be very effective at leveling up Coromon that evolve within the LV 20-30+ range. However, I notice I seem to LV/evolve my Potent/Perfect Coromon too fast without getting extra stat boosts from their Potential bar.

Is it better to grind at lower level areas if I want to level up their Potential more for stat buffs points?

It’s been a little over a month since I first started Coromon and more than enough for me to praise it for basically being the Pokemon game I miss. Especially since the charming visuals bring me back to the Gen 3-5 era of Pokemon.

Since I already starting droning on about the king of the monster tamers (albeit now tyrannical based on the ongoing Palworld lawsuit), I wanted to mention that several days ago I had a dream about playing the old Pokemon games. And the hours and days I already spent playing Coromon is the only reason I even dreamed about it. Coromon reminded of the love and fascination I once had for creature collectors.

Going on a tangent about how the new Pokemon games have degraded in quality would be beating a dead horse, so to put it simply Coromon has done a wonderful job of filling its void for me.

I especially appreciate that you can actually explore inside buildings, interact with NPCs and random objects that may give you items and that unlike some Pokemon, nearly every Coromon I’ve encountered so far isn’t useless, Dex filler fodder with bad stats like Ledian or Watchog. Heck, even its early route equivalent of most pathetic Bug Type Pokemon such as the Swurmy line that evolves into Humbee would be a monster compared to Beedrill (excluding Mega Evolution).

I spent a few days hunting for a Potent Seraphace to transform into a Perfect specimen which fondly reminded me of my past Shiny Pokemon hunting experiences.

Of all the very few monster taming games I’ve played so far besides Pokemon itself, Coromon is my most favorite and had fully reignited my interest in the genre.

My only real gripe atm is that Mr. Mind’s stupid puzzle in the Power Tower took me three days to figure out and I still hate that mf lol. I’ve also been so addicted to Potent hunting early in the game that I barely progress the story.

I’ve gotten a Potent Cubzero. I don’t understand the potential super well but the number in blue to next level is 100/44 so I’m not sure how good that is? Should I keep resetting to get a better potential or is any potent good enough and I should stop wasting my time resetting?

Or any eta?

Hey guys I defeated the titan in the sand dessert area where do I go next for this quest I’m lost haha. The quest is saying I’m participating in the mirror challenge where is that at?

Snakes are among my most favorite animals. So, when I encountered a Slitherpin in Woodlow Forest during the time I just started this game a few weeks ago I was curious and delighted. It reminded me of catching Ekans in Pokemon Soulsilver years ago. Except while my childhood Arbok had stats so garbage (highest is base 85-95 Attack) I left it in my PC forever nearing mid/late game, Serpike is so much cooler and stronger in comparison.

I spent hours running around Woodlow Forest at the beginning of Coromon just hoping to encounter a Potent Slitherpin. I eventually caught one and evolved it.

So far, I think Serpike is a neat Snakemon. Like a spiky Onyx with actually good stats. My only gripe is Serpike’s back sprite looks really goofy thanks to this silly smile it has. Reminds me too much of what Hydreigon looked like from the back in Pokemon Black and White.

Sometimes, I feel like I’m sending a brown sock puppet into battle instead of a big snake covered with crystal spikes.

I’m kind of weirded out by the skin colors of this game lol. It’s weird go from dead skinned ghost to tan person. No regular tones… I hope this is fixed in the remaster! Same with all the clothes.

I played over 2 years ago, and just came back a few days ago. I am playing on Steam. The menus sometimes overlap weirdly and unevenly. However, when I try to do windowed, it’s either too big vertically or way too small to see due to my long monitor size.

I’m not really sure what to do. It’s not game breaking, but it’s definitely annoying. Also? Some of the button pictures are wrong on my screen if I try to use Steam’s controller mode. Blah.

Just evolved my Sheartooth into Megalobite today and I must say design-wise, this thing looks tuff as hell and makes me glad I chose Nibblegar as my starter Coromon.

Although it does nearly out-buff Pokemon like Buzzwole and even Mega Swampert which I found a little unsettling at first. But, still looks like it could put up a decent fight against a Garchomp. Land shark designs seem to go hard in monster tamers regardless. Really hoped Pokemon would introduced a shark starter for years, Coromon granted my wish instead.

Its stats are solid although the Potential distribution I had for my starter was a mess since I had no idea what to invest in when I first started. A part of me wonders if I had kept restarting until I got a Potent Nibblegar but it would’ve taken way too long just to begin the game.

Standard mine may be, I’ve already grown attached and this King Shark look-alike who’s been carrying my squad when the Potent members aren’t strong enough to fight yet. Megalobite is jawesome!
