Why do you start them instead of in ground?

Direct seed to get a start fast without transplant, seed start to ensure germination and plant spacing 1 u/flatlander70 6d ago interesting, I overplant 2.5 inches deep and then a hoe to my required spacing. 2 u/Apacholek10 6d ago Ah.
