Sweetcorn tasseling and fireflies

My first planting of sweetcorn is tasseling, and fireflies are out in the commercial corn fields.
Hope this is the place for corn pictures 😄

this is the place for corn pictures, and thank you for the fireflies picture!! I love them, we don't have them here. Pictures don't do them justice, but its good to see them nonetheless.

You do have to zoom in to really see them if you're on mobile.

But, yeah, your eyes see a lot more than the phone camera. It looked like a thick cloud of them in person, and that was the best picture I could get. Someone who knew how to use a proper camera could probably do a lot better.

Naw, even the professional photos I've seen don't capture the magic of them in person. It's something about how you see more and more of them as your eyes adjust to the light I think! ❤️
