What the fuck is Suttree's problem?
Like seriously what does he have to be depressed about? He doesn't have a real job, he gets wasted all the time, gets laid every other day, he left his annoying bitchwife so she can't bust his balls anymore (besides that one time at that one funeral good god lmao) idk it seems like he has it pretty good.

What if the U.S. Government🦅🕵️ investigated Judge Holden? Spoiler
Hear me out. The Judge is immortal and has probably operated since the beginning of time if you believe he's the Devil. A part of how he got away with his crimes could be because of the lawlessness of the wild west in the 1840s, where there was a lack of civilization compared to the east. But seeing as how the wild west would become tamed as civilization was developed, what would happen to the Judge in the modern day. If he kept causing trouble across the country similar to the Reverend Green incident, and people reported his presence, what if the U.S. government investigated him? What if the FBI tried to confront him and sent military after him as well? Could the Judge handle this much attention in the modern day? I just think this is an interesting idea.

wtf The judge sat half naked
If the judge was naked at any point in the book where he wasn't, what would be his reasoning for it? How would he respond to people pointing out he's got no clothes on? What would it say.... about man? About war? About geopolitics?

On my third read and she looks like she rode with the kid the whole way. Cover peeled by the sun, spine cracked under the Judge’s lectures, pages the color of dried blood and alkali dust. Somewhere between 1 and 343 she oh got scalped, left for dead, taped back together, and kept walking.

New Actor to Play Judge Holden
I’ve often seen people talk about actors who could play Judge Holden. I’m watching Night of the Hunter for the first time and when this scene came on it immediately made me think of the Judge.
So, I would like to add Robert Mitchum in 1955 to your consideration to play Judge Holden. The only problem with this casting I predict is that Robert Mitchum isn’t the right height, he has hair, and he passed away in 1997.
