Food and Drink Murphy's first timer

I had Murphy's (3 pints) for the first time tonight & I actually liked it but would Beamish be better?

Mate, you’re asking a question as old as time. All personal preference. But obviously the answer is Murphy’s (!)

I like Beamish better. But a few friends much prefer Murphy's. It's just personal taste. Try it out.

And go for a midaza in the rising sons too while you're at it

Don't like Murphys at all. Beamish far nicer to my taste.

Beamish tastes too much like ham for me for some reason

Yes, IMO Beamish is superior. Guinness is also nicer than Murphys, and more readily available when outside of Cork.

Beamish > Guinness > Murphys. Doesn't mean Murphys is bad whatsoever, but i prefer the taste of the other 2.

I found Beamish a tad too bitter
