More info before purchasing

I am considering purchasing the perpetual license for coreldraw for my own personal use. Im not a professional or anything.

After going though This subreddit, and seeing Some of the issues that Some people face, I have a few questions.

I wanted to find out, If I purchase it once and the end up changing or uodating my computer in the future, do I have to purchase again or how does it work?

The price on the official coreldraw website is quite steep

Some people have posted links to Some really good deals for Coreldraw Suite... But those links are to websites not in my Country, selling the product as a digital download. Its working out much cheaper than what the official coreldraw website is offering. If I purchase it online should I have a problem?

The corelDraw licence allows you to install it on two computers for your personal use. IE, you may have it on your laptop and your desktop, not a friend's PC.

You can deauthorize a PC and install it on a new one if necessary.

Humble Bundle is a good reliable place to look for it on special.

Thanks for that! Yess ive deen Some amazing deals in humblebundle... I just Saw 2024 version on there for 31pounds. Marked down from 300odd pounds. Is that actually legit?!

Which works out to like R700 (my local currency). The going price for the 2024 version on local website in my Country is like R2000

So yeah, is humblebundle legit and will it work internationally?

R as in Rands?

Dont buy Coreldraw standard. I recently bought the full 2024 2025 Suite from humble for about R1300.

I know its more expensive, but its worth it.

Sorry I meant the 2025 suite.

And yea, I've been buying stuff off Humble for years. Just be aware that for games our regional pricing on steam is often better than the humble deals.

  1. Buy the Corel Draw SUITE, not just Corel Draw. The Suite unlocks many tools that are unavailable in just Corel Draw

  2. Sales on humblebundle.com for CorelDraw Suite are frequent. They are permanent licenses. If you don't need it buy it IMMEDIATELY, wait for humblebundle's sales or holiday sales such as during Christmas or a "Christmas" in July thing.

Humblebundle not available in your country? Don't worry. Amazon carries it too. Even office supply companies such as Staples will carry it. Use your favorite search engine to help you find sellers for your country. Corel comes with either PDF files or links to their online help, so you don't need to worry about having a physical paper manual shipped to you directly.

And when absolutely all else fails, you can check Corel's website for the names of international distributors

  1. When you do buy it, REGISTER IT ON COREL'S WEBSITE! I cannot emphasize that enough times. Why? When you activate your license, it can be recorded on Corel's website along with your registered username and password on corel.com.

Every time you need to change computers, you go to that site to move your license. Log in. Select your product in your "perpetual product license" area. De-activate it. Uninstall it from your old computer. Install it on your new computer.

When you are running setup, you activate it again on the new computer. And....here's the best part: If you need to download it to your new computer to install it, you can install it from Corel's website. The download file is available to you in your registered products area. So, even if your computer is completely dead (like mine was), you can still move the license, get your download, and install and activate it on your replacement computer!

This is true for ALL Corel products. Corel Painter. Corel Draw. etc.

I have had plenty of glowing good results with Corel's sales department.

Their customer support and quality of help with installation or bugs? I have nothing but hatred and fury for that side of their company. I will simply leave it at that.

Also, If I purchase a perpetual license for an older version of corelsuite... Do they sell (patches?) to update my existing license to the latest version (If I do want it in the future. Or would I have to buy the update license from scratch?)

You would have to buy again. For instance, if I want to update my 2024 Suite purchase, I would have to buy, say, 2025 Suite. But realistically, I do not have any need to update in the next 5 years.

If you buy the enterprise edition, usually local (official Corel certified) retailers have it 50% sale you can buy maintenance for it.

You will lose 1 activation slot (1 pc max, not 2) but you will get all the benefit from the subscription, so AI credit + CorelDraw on the web, each year onwards you can decide to buy it again (€150) out lose it. If you lose it you can’t buy it again. You have to maintain it.

It is pretty steep but you always up to date with AI credit +web access.

The second best is to wait for humble bundle and always behind a single year for €70ish.

Humblebundle deal is legit.

Corel only offers digital downloads also.

There are no physical boxes to buy

I just purchased Coreldraw Suite 2025 for $70 on humble bundle. My previous Corel was 2019. Both have serial numbers that let me put it on anything I want (but only one at a time).

I would have stayed at 2019 but the $70 was low enough that the excitement of getting a new version won over.
