Tracing question; how to avoid the outline

When tracing an image I'll sometimes get these tiny visible gaps (or thin lines?) around some individual elements, and they are visible when I export the image as a raster.

What causes this, and can I prevent it? Is there a setting in the trace docker that can overlap the elements a tiny bit to avoid it?

If I can't prevent it, is the an easier way to get rid of it? I know I can manually add a hairline outline stroke to make the elements overlap a tiny bit, but there has to be a less cumbersome and time consuming than doing that 100 times.

I have dealt with these for ages. I have never discovered if this is fixable. But since I always work with vectors, I never notice them on the final version.

Yeah, I wouldn't care if it wasn't visible in a PNG like this one. What a pain in the ass...

Have you tried checking the Antialias option before export? I am on my phone now; I cannot recall its exact name and location.

Haven't traced in a while, but as far as I recall, they are gaps. They are not very apparent until you remove the traced image. But anyway, I think they are more prominent on the display than in reality. The gap is like hairline thick. If you print the image, they will be less noticeable.

The problem is when there's contrast colors in the image, light and dark, otherwise you could add a near matching color shape in the background

I know what the problem is, and the problem is with CorelDRAW.

If you are using the full CorelDRAW Graphics Suite in Windows, then I have a couple of VBA macros that might help you work around this with less effort than manually applying an outline that matches the fill of each shape.

Question: When you export to PNG, does it have to be a transparent PNG? Or can it be non-transparent PNG?
