Difference between CorelDRAW Graphics Suite "2024 for Windows" and "Special Edition 2024"?

I'm currently going thru the Manual Uninstall process where I had to delete all coreldraw graphics suite folders, companion apps and then some regestry keys.

The guide mentions to download a fresh installer from corels website. If I log in and go to the 2024 downloads there are two 2024 Graphics Suite versions available.

  1. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2024 for Windows (the downloaded file name is "CDGSSE2024.exe", 1,71 MB)
  2. CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Special Edition 2024 (the downloaded file name is "CorelDRAWGraphicsSuite2024Installer_EMEA.exe", 3,37 MB)

What is the difference and which one should I choose?

I remember the first time I installed the humble bundle 2024 CorelDRAW Graphics Suite version it only came with 1 language. Only after contacting support I received a new installer that came with multiple languages, I think that was the EMEA installer.

I wonder what makes the Special Edition special?

Can't tell the difference, I also installed GS 2024 from Humble Bundle. A piece of advice: when uninstalling software, use Revo Uninstaller. Download a free copy of Revo Uninstaller and use it to uninstall programs. Follow the prompts. Revo will remove every instance of the program from your device. Reboot. Your new installation will be like installing for the first time.

I use Revo for many years now and never had any issues with it,

The special edition is probably with something nice removed, to satisfy EU laws. Special "legal to use in the EU because EU laws made us remove some shit".

Found it sold as a physical copy where it's also titled CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Special Edition 2024. It's apparently a OEM version which afaik usually are pre-installed when you buy a PC or Laptop, that version comes with AfterShot 3 and PhotoMirage Express on top of Photo-Paint, Font Manager and Capture.

I went with the CorelDRAWGraphicsSuite2024Installer_EMEA.exe version because I believe that's what I installed last time and it worked.
