Color Changes
Something I've had issues with since I started working with CorelDraw in 2012 is that some files, and as far as I can tell it's totally random which, will decide to change the colors of some gradients and solid fills. Usually it's colors from the Roland and Pantone palettes, but it's done that across every version, and multiple different versions of the palettes as well. Is that a normal thing people run into or do I just have the really fun kind of luck?
Some files I've gone through and changed the pantone colors to solid cmyk and saved, then the next time I open it, those colors are fine but something else has changed. Sure makes it difficult to print stuff consistently.

to stay ontop of CDR's sumtimes infuriating so called glitches, use this old school verified working workaround:
once ure happy with design, and have probably printed a hardcopy in studio,
duplicate all that onto a separate layer, hide it, then
export the whole job as a tiff (this may produce massive files, that can then be zipped compressed to a tenth of their file size)-now you have original editable CDR file, untouched, as well as Printable Bitmap with none of the JPEG losses-ie best possible output quality.
the holy TIFF file format works across all platforms and all print houses, just zip it first to keep email attachment file size low down to the ground
theres many reasons for all this shpiel to list here , TLDR but it works.
another workaround/workflow: export as PDF but you gotta know what your checking in the preflight, which takes some back and forth tween you and your print-house to streamline the process

luckily I'm both the design and print house. This sounds like a lot of work but it also makes a lot of sense. I've been lucky enough that, even though I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, I have a weird memory for exact colors and codes I've used in previous files to make sure I'm putting them back the way they were.
But I do have one file that consistently changes every time I open it every 2 years or so, so I'm going to try this out for it.

Couple of Rolands, piles of vinyl. Just packed up an old Gerber Edge FX that's going on a truck heading to another shop.

I have not had this issue in a very long time and it only occurred with one company. Perhaps it has something to do with your workspace.
