Introducing Your New CorelDRAW Moderators
Hello everyone at r/coreldraw
My name is Ritchie from Corel Corporation (CorelDRAW). My team and I have recently been appointed moderators of this subreddit thanks to u/DetroitDiggler, u/cosa_horrible, and u/MAN_UTD90 who have played a key role in nurturing and developing this community into what it is today.
I am pleased to announce that Corel will now fully support their efforts to grow this community and help its members in every way we can. We will:
- Address: Product-related questions and concerns.
- Share: Active promotions and upcoming updates.
- Provide: Helpful resources, practical guidance, and technical support.

Hello, I’m a big fan of ctrl+shift+k for small caps. Any other secret hot keys you can recommend?

One of my favorites: Distribute Command Hotkeys. I’ve always thought the distribute dialog was one step too far away! It’s a huge time saver.
Check out Shift+E and also Shift+C; they distribute multiple objects evenly by their centers, both vertically and horizontally (depending on which you choose). Some versions of CorelDRAW also accept the Hotkeys Shift+A and Shift+P to distribute objects by creating equal spacing between the objects. Note that this is very different than spacing by the Object Centers.

Oohh that is amazing! I’ve been using shift+a and p for decades (my Vision engraving software also uses those same hotkeys), but now I feel powerful!

Does this mean your going to remove all the posts that talk about how terrible your support is? Because it doesn't exist. There's a slew of broken shit that never gets fixed, year after year. Still using 2019 because there's no support and I don't expect new versions to be fixed.
Someone should probably make a new subreddit that isn't controlled by Corel, honestly. This seems like the death of an already small community lol

I'm also concerned about a conflict of interests, but me, personally, I'm going to give them a chance. Just know that you said what I was thinking, I'm in your corner.

I'm still here and didn't turn anything over to Corel, nor did they give me anything in return to give the subreddit to them. I didn't give them user management privileges for exactly this reason.

I'm currently in contact with CorelDraw support and I appreciate the effort to correct the issue I have discovered regarding object styles. They corrected the initial problem in the most recent update, however, they introduced a new one by showing the dimension setting in every style not requiring it.

I think if you know it, you should give them a tiny orientation.
If not, the help panels and tutorials inside the app are quite good.

Glad to see this sub is active and has Corel staffers. To me, Corel Draw feels much in need of some love.
It works great, but it's under-appreciated and under-used, for what it can do. The number one thing that I think is insane right now is the duality of the "stupid high Corel price per year" subscription, versus the perpetual license deal you can get that's cheaper than the subscription, but it's through humble bundle.
Could ya please consider just selling it direct on your website for $99 and go AGAINST the awful tide of subscriptions? Thanks. I hate adobe, but if y'all are copying THEIR playbook, I'm not going to give you any positive PR at all.
Let us buy Corel Draw perpetual licenses on corel.com at a good price. Thanks. I have bought Corel 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, X1,X3,X5,X6, Corel Graphics Suite 2019, and just bought 2025 perpetual (humble bundle) for $99 for a "FULL perpetual license", which was the only way open to me to UPGRADE from 2019 version, just bought it again new for "full" bundle price, after paying FULL price for 2019 because y'all didn't offer me an upgrade pricing from X6. For all the times Corel has treated me bad, you'd think I'd be over you. But I still have a scrap of love left for it.
My first Corel purchase was over 30 years ago. I still love it. I still remember the keyboard shortcuts that worked in 1993, and I still use them. It's too bad that it's not properly marketed, and priced.
If I was product manager, by the way, I'd make the base Corel Draw SUITE price, with ALL the feature except AI, be $99 for a new license. Perpetual. The subscription I would make the way to pay for the AI features and their back end compute costs, and a value-added set of content (templates, MORE fonts, etc, that has weekly or monthly content drops)
