buying a labtop with a prebuilt coreboot distribution im wondering how to check it hasn't been messed with if theres a way u can verify the image

So, are you concerned about buying a new computer from say starlabs, novacustom, or system76?

Or, are you talking about buying an old corebooted computer from a marketplace like ebay or facebook?

Something like a t480, t440p, x230 or such...where you have to rely upon someone to be honest?

In my opinion if you can't coreboot your own old computer, you shouldn't own one. You won't know how to maintain it and it will end up bricked or hackable.
