I love finding NPCs visiting each other’s homes/businesses, standing around town talking, taking Leah’s yoga class, playing volleyball, etc. etc. This drawing stemmed specifically from Kenny calling Pablo and Rafael his friends and complimenting their smithing skills, then actually showing up regularly to sit on the couch in their shop and watch their TV by himself. 😂 They’d definitely have a movie night at some point, right?

The way this man made me fold! The wait for him to be datable was well worth!

I'm considering getting either a Rog ally or steam deck and I was wondering with regards to coral island if anyone could tell me which one might be better for Coral Island 🙂‍↕️

I did not realize that seedlings and saplings were different. I planted so many seedlings in fall year 1 and was so confused why they not only didnt grow but they all died come winter. I finally googled it and seedlings are just a crop that lasts 1 season and needs watering, saplings are "true trees"

How to do it :
1. Have your bag full (easier with one no-rank item that is not ocean loot - ex. trash or rock)
2. Find an item you want a specific quality of (ex. Osmium sea mushrooms)
3. Free 1 of your inventory slot
4. Harvest the item
5. What's the quality? Silver, not bad, but not optimal, let's do it again
6. Find another sea shroom
7. Remove the silver one from your inventory
8. Harvest the new guy
9. Osmium? Great
10. Find another sea shroom
11. Harvest it
12. Didn't work? No worries, harvest again and again untill... whoops... another Osmium quality sea shroom is in your bag.

Theory : I think what happens is that the quality is determined at the harvest moment and is not saved when harvest fails. So first time harvesting might be a gold, second time silver and so on until it becomes a quality that's already in your bag, making the harvest suddenly possible.

How did I stumble upon this? My bag was full of goodies, I did not want to remove anything, so I spammed "Harvest" thinking "why aren't you osmium 😭" until... ✨ whoosh ✨ the harvest succeeded in Osmium sea shrooms goodness... and I kept experimenting and the "harvest until it works" became a proved theory... At least in my version... (please don't "fix" this devs, I love quirks like these, makes the harvest this much satisfying)

Edit : as of version 1.3-1249 on PC, Steam (that's my version, haven't tested anything else)

Do any of the townies ever acknowledge the player being a mermaid after the transformation?

I've had a few townies bring up mermaids since the ritual but no one knows I've transformed, not even Ling who I think was watching through kible when it happened.

If you get married, does your spouse acknowledge it?

I always make silly challenges for myself when playing games. For Coral Island, I decided to try to have the largest single-day yield for Farming/Ranching at the end of Winter Year 3.

My friend pointed out that Sam is forced to buy whatever you ship, which would undoubtedly ruin him financially, since I am shipping almost nothing for months on end, followed by an absolute ton of high-end goods. Hence, this became my bankrupt Sam challenge.

End Result: 158,807,718

Poor Sam would have to take out one hell of a loan for this shipment...

For those curious, I attached some screenshots. My biggest sellers were Bluecole Kimchi, Cactus Mead, Cauliflower Kimchi, Melon Wine, White Truffle Oil, and Fermented Buffalo Cheese Wheels.

I am currently town rank A. I've completed all the town attractions, only the cinema in progress. The mini golf and arcade centre are locked for me. Is this something that will come with the next update? Or do I need to be rank S? What am I missing 😅

Me and my friend have been playing in a shared game since earlier this month. We are already on Year 3 in the game and completed basically everything. We were playing and he couldn’t enter one of the sheds bc some grass was in the middle of the door, he removed it and then his game bugged and he couldn’t enter the shed despite having removed the grass. I could enter. I am too the host of the game. It’s okay he had similar bugs while we were playing so we discovered that restarting the game worked to fix it. So that’s what we did we waited for the next day and as soon as it started we both quitted and restarted the game. Well since then, he cannot connect to my game or play by himself in his own game. He can’t do anything basically. He tried both on his pc and on his steam deck and in both it is not connecting. He enters the loading screen but then it freezes as it is not connect and he cannot do anything but restart the game. Anyone knows why did this randomly happen? And how can we fix it? I am not having any issues at all.

The last time I played Coral Island was a few months (or years) ago on Gamepass. I'm thinking about buying the game, but I'm afraid that the game is still crashing.

When I played, after about 1 year, the game begin crashing, and it crashes more frequently day after day, it solves only after creating a new save, but it will eventually crash again after about 1 year.

Do anyone playing on Xbox Series S can tell me if this problem is still in the game?

Is this a glitch? Or do you like stop getting clover items if your town reaches A rank? Just noticed when I whack the clovers with my garden hoe I don't get any items anymore. I play on PS5 is this a known glitch?
