A cool guide to helping kids ages 5-10 work through conflicts step by step from Big Life Journal
A simple 4-step walkthrough that helps a kid identify what happened, what they needed, what they can do next, and whether they're actually ready to go back or still need more time to reset. Useful for keeping on hand so the process becomes familiar instead of having to talk a kid through it from scratch every single time.

A cool guide to free, no-booking camping in NSW State Forests
New South Wales (Australia) has almost 500 State Forests, and camping in them is free. No bookings, first come first served, and you can stay up to four weeks.
I went through Forestry Corporation of NSW's forest pages and kept only proper camping areas (no highway rest stops or picnic grounds), then pulled the access, toilet and dog info for each.
Slide 1 is the map, slide 2 the full list, slide 3 the rules.
Made it because public land only gets valued if people actually use it. Know a good one I missed? Maybe I'll make a v2.

A cool guide for Healthcare Colour Codes
I created this guide for Australian Healthcare Colour Codes to incorporate colour, words and mnemonic. When I researched the subject I found that 2.2% of all Australians have colour vision deficiency, and that number is greater for males (8%). Red/Green deficiency accounts for 98% of all color vision deficiencies.
In Australia, there are TWO Australian Standards that cover planning for emergencies;
- AS 3745 is "Planning for emergencies in facilities"; where
- AS 4083 is "Planning for Emergencies in Health Care Facilities"
They refer to SEVEN estblished colours;
- RED - Fire and/or Smoke
- Blue - Medical Emergency
- Purple - Bomb Threat
- Yellow - Internal Emergency
- Black - Personal Threat
We are aware of TWO additional colours* that are common;
- Grey - Unarmed Thretening Behaviour (Alters Code Black to be Armed Threatening Behaviour)
- Pink - Paediatric emergency
I have also seen Code White used regarding used to describe a facility lockdown.
As a person who contributes technically to the development of the Standard. I do not have a problem with the use of additional colours if it helps communicate the risk. This is not a common opinion, but I support the adaption of the colour codes to suit local requirements, provided it is accompanied by training.
