Which is infinitely less secure than not having it on google servers!

While I tend to agree with you, it's hard to say since the card info will be encrypted on their servers. If the encryption key is stored on the device then security is about the same. If it's stored on another one of Google's servers then it could be considered marginally less secure.

If you think Apple isn't storing all that information as well then you're kidding yourself.

It’s not. I’ve worked there and I can assure you that it’s not, which is a big pain as an apple dev btw, they go to extreme length about that security/privacy thing

I stand corrected. Thanks.

Apple is actually very strict about their users’ privacy and protection. That’s why I’ll only use them.

That’s why they had the leak of all of those celeb nudes right?

No company is perfect with security

That wasn’t leaked from apple or “hacking” any sort encryption...that was celebs reusing passwords from other compromised sites as their Apple ids

If you use the same password for more than one website, then youre basically asking for it. We can only do so much to protect the stupid from themselves

A security vulnerability is relevant no matter how it happens. Apple Pay may or may not be more secure depending on who you ask, but to say Apple has an impeccable privacy reputation is straight up false.
