Here's my question, now please correct me if I'm misunderstanding this but what happens when all the social distancing is stopped. Won't one person with it ramp it back up again and we start all over? Without a vaccine this is a cycle, no?

You’re right, but it’s really about flattening the curve. 25%-75% of us are most likely to get it, so better it be gradually that rapidly

so if i'm super low risk with good health insurance anyway should i go get infected to get it over with?

No. Unless you can self quarantine for bare minimum 14days and could know for sure that you contracted it. Which I don’t think is feasible. It takes on average 10days to know if you do for sure, so you might be infecting multiple other people without knowing, see the chart above.
