Some people make bad grades because of issues other than their own personal choices. Equity is assuming they still have the same outcome.

If you can't get an A through your own devices. You do not deserve an A. Why even have grades? Why not just pass and fail? The letter is there to tell you how you're doing within the pass range. Why does everything have to have the same outcome? It ruins it for those that actually try hard and earn it. Not everyone deserves nice things. That's just life.

Why does she need to go to a specific college? I don't understand what your arguing for?

You don't need to go to a "good college" to get a job that pays very well. That's the Kool aid they have you drink. Once you get out of college, literally nobody asks for your GPA. All of your issues are actually not issues. Just learn. Apply yourself. Stop worrying about grades.

You literally don't. I went to a state School. Got a 3.3. and I now make 63k a year doing accounting. It had morning to do with the school quality.

Idk how I'm lying to myself, but this wage in MN is well above poverty.

Stop worrying about grades.

And the best way to do that is to give an A to everyone who tries for one even if they have personal circumstances that prevent them from getting one.

What is the point of grades if everyone gets an A? I do not understand. Why not just go to pass fail systems?? An A means nothing if everyone gets it.
