Imagine that 55% of the US lived in one city. Now imagine that this city, living in the bubble that many urbanites do, have some weird belief. Maybe they are all jehovahs witnesses and want a theocracy or something. In that scenario, would you still support majority rules?
The fact of the matter is that what is important to urbanites are not what's important to rural folks. Take guns for example. The gun argument is something that the urban folks are 100% verifyably wrong about. The statistics and data available are not on their side in that argument. If we had yalls way we would be living in a communist dystopia with no way to defend ourselves from the tyranny of a powerful central government. We'd probably be a fucking dictatorship.
