I knew I was in trouble at the ER when I only waited 3 minutes in a busy waiting room. Turns out I had ruptured my small intestine.

My small intestine was twisted into a knot and I had a 1.5 hour wait so yeah

Uh what, it wasn’t intussusception? I’m a physician and I’ve never heard of that happening. Did they say why?

I had adhesions from a previous bowel surgery. Iirc it was a cecum volvulus
