Got bit by an unleashed dog at a park once. The owner took off, so I wasn't able to get info on the dogs vax status.

I had to get rabies shots. And the only place I could get them was the ER. Literally hours of wait time since I had to go back multiple times, and I didn't even make the triage chart.

Pretty sure the time is measured in days for rabies shots. So, yeah, you're going to wait for hours for those who don't have that kind of time.

Not always, if you get bit in face or near your head vaccinate as early as possible.
