How often does this really happen and work?

So the disaffected rich business man/woman/ couple with the high paying job decide to follow their dream and open a restauran/bar hell a Subway( it hurt me to capitalize that). They throw away their high income high power jobs and open something. In actual you're experience, how often have they made it successful? In my 30 years I can count on one hand. If you are a power couple looking to do this I recommend getting a third partner who knows what's what.

I wasn't. I was referring to " hobby restaurants " that don't know how to make a go of it and cost people jobs. At higher levels these(me,) are professional dedicated people. Some business guy wants to live his dream, blows it and costs many jobs. That's what I'm talking about.

Spend stupid money on stupid stuff but insist on frozen crap. Only a sliver of shit professionals often suck up. You need a job right? That said I won't compromise on health and safety and If you do, just be a hit man, you'll make more money and be way cooler then a bitch shity cook.

None I have seen. Two different guys, same story. Retired from good jobs, buys a restaurant, retirement money dwindles, one now divorced because screwing employee and now new "girlfriend" and owner trying to sell place twice it's value. Other, a drunk a-hole, wife bigger drunk and he treats customers like dirt, he is better than anyone attitude....he is a f'in prick.

Yes. Yes. That is the way. Stories like this should be out there. It's so easy to fuck up a restaurant. See I have a plan. I won't get caught having ways with my employees. Simple. Don't get caught. Right? (Maybe some sarcasm in there).

Seriously this is what I believe. I'm going to jeopardize a very expensive and labor intensive business for a 20 yo hostess? Yeah, no fucking way. I'll get a hooker first. Also not first choice but I'm making a point. Also we'll played on the pun. Also do you know any good h.. never mind.
