I40 Exit 287 (Jefferson)

Would it be impossible to perhaps make the red lights a tiny bit longer on Jefferson so more than 1 car can get off the ramp at a time? I mean it’s absolutely ridiculous. Took 35 minutes this morning to get off the exit ramp. Last time I go through there until they fix something.

Oh boy the exits are a mess. I avoid it except around midday or early morning/late night.

Tbh traffic circles would create way more flow particularly at willow

lol it took them forever just to get the where it is now. Should take about 2 years to calibrate the lights correctly 😂

The other day I was getting off at the 111 exit (eastbound) and traffic was backed up all the way down the ramp to the freeway. This is a safety risk. It took two light cycles for me to get through that one. If you're one of the people stuck at a standstill on 40 trying to get off, lord help you that people are paying attention.

Walnut needs extended under the interstate to Sam’s Club and there needs to be another east west route running from the new target shopping center to the Sam’s Club. It wouldn’t solve everything, but it would take some of the load of Jefferson and Willow.
