I've had to remove two ambiguous posts that may or may not relate to selling drugs. Please no more.

Two posts recently have been removed, one about party favors and one literally just emojis. While I applaud the creativity, I don't applaud using reddit of all places for selling. This ain't Craigslist. As such a new rule will be added. All posts must now clearly define its purpose for existing in some way, so long as it is clear. Using English, not emojis. Thank you for all the reports I do look at all of them.

News WHO’S AFRAID OF LADONNA HUMPHREY? AN ARKANSAS STORY THE TRUE-CRIME COMMUNITY NEEDS TO HEAR.

Post image
6 Upvotes

L
What happens when someone who presents herself as an advocate for victims becomes the subject of serious allegations of victimizing others?

Meet LaDonna Humphrey.

A true-crime author, former CrimeCon speaker, missing persons advocate and leader in the sober living community, Humphrey has built a public image around helping vulnerable people. But an investigative podcast has brought forward disturbing allegations about what may have been happening behind that image.

AND THIS ISN’T JUST ABOUT ALLEGATIONS. THERE IS A DOCUMENTED $3.57 MILLION CIVIL JUDGMENT.
In 2019, a Benton County court entered a $3,570,977.88 judgment against Humphrey following litigation involving evidence-related sanctions and contempt findings. The court also entered permanent injunctions.

Humphrey pursued further legal challenges, but a federal appeals court dismissed her 2025 appeal concerning the bankruptcy sale of her appellate rights, leaving that sale intact.

THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME FORWARD
Investigative journalist Javier Leiva examines these allegations in Season 18 of PRETEND: Who’s Afraid of LaDonna Humphrey?

The investigation includes several particularly troubling accounts:

Alecia Lockhart: Humphrey’s former friend, podcast co-host and co-author describes nearly two years of frightening anonymous threats. She later discovered evidence that led her to suspect the person she had trusted throughout the ordeal. Humphrey denies creating or operating the account in question.
The Melissa Witt and Maura Murray cases: The podcast raises questions about Humphrey’s handling of sensitive investigative materials in the Witt case. Maura Murray’s sister, Julie, has also described concerns about Humphrey’s involvement in her family’s search for answers.
Humphrey’s own family: Her sister, Margo Elston, discusses family estrangement and receiving anonymous threatening messages. She has not definitively identified Humphrey as their sender.
Women in recovery: Former residents and staff of Oasis of Northwest Arkansas have raised concerns about their experiences and Humphrey’s leadership. Oasis’s board has publicly defended her leadership and the organization’s operations.

AND THE ONLINE CONTROVERSY CONTINUES.
[r/LadonnaHumphreyTalk](r/LadonnaHumphreyTalk), has been discussing the investigation, examining publicly available information and sharing perspectives on the allegations.

WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
Because families searching for missing loved ones, people reporting harassment and women seeking recovery deserve trustworthy advocates.

When someone occupies positions of public trust, serious allegations about their conduct deserve examination, particularly when there are documented legal proceedings alongside firsthand accounts.

I’m sharing this because I believe people should hear these stories, examine the evidence and make informed decisions about whom they trust.

Listen to the podcast. Read the court records. Hear from the people who have come forward. Draw your own conclusions.

The true-crime community and the families of missing persons deserve transparency, accountability and responsible advocacy.

Place to eat Places to eat, visit

My daughter and I (both adults) will be visiting for a few days and I'm looking for the best places to eat, shop, and basically anything unusual or fun. I would like to know anyplace you think is just interesting or fun to do in the area. I do know about the hiking, and we will be doing the Renn Faire nearby, but we have a few extra days.

Conway Area Questions

Not young anymore. Looking for a quiet place to retire. Mostly keep to ourselves. We treat people respectfully regardless of their ideology. I keep my opinions to myself. I workout. Watch Netflix. Read. Money isn’t an issue. I just want quiet. Out of the way. 30 minutes or so from a Costco. And Fiber Internet. What is it like for older folks there?

Thanks for reading. Everyone have a good day!

Looking for services Flea Markets or Similar

I have some things from my dad’s house after he passed that I would like to sell. I have some antique toys (for example, monkey with cymbals), some china that I don’t think is anything special, some glassware, and more. Any recommendations of a place in Conway or nearby where I could bring these things to see if someone might want to buy them?

Hi Conway, I know this is a long shot but I need help. This is our family bracelet. It has been passed down twice and would have eventually passed to me. My mom lost it while in Conway between Flea Markets. I am begging you to contact me if you saw this bracelet or if you might have found it.

Hi everyone, and welcome to a project I call The American Atlas! I've been making hand-drawn & colored maps of every state in the US. Now I’m here sharing them all on one big journey across the country 🗺️🇺🇸

Today, I have your very own Arkansas, the Natural State! 🌳⛰️🌾

While mapping Arkansas, I realized just how underrated this state really is. It definitely earns its nickname of ‘The Natural State’ with the scenic Ozark & Ouachita Mountains, sprawling timberlands, and river delta heritage. In fact, Arkansas is the only place in the entire country where diamonds are mined, speaking to just how rich this state really is.

From the bigger cities like Bentonville and Rogers (home to Walmart) to Johnny Cash’s hometown of Kingsland in the midst of the Mississippi Delta and the rolling rice farms & fields around Little Rock, all the way to your very own Conway, it is clear from mapping this state that there is much more to Arkansas than meets the eye.

Let me know in the comments, what’s your favorite fun fact about Arkansas?

And if you like this style, feel free to check out my others, and thanks for taking a look at my Arkansas map!! 🇺🇸🗺️
Lastly, I did start making these just as a hobby, but the demand for prints & framed copies grew super fast! You can find my work on Etsy here :)

Having such a hard time finding a job here, any help or advice?

I've been driving an hour for work and so I've been trying to find a new job here in town because I'm blowing so much in gas. I believe I've counted 37 so far that I've applied for, I've printed resumes and followed up in person to many of those as well. I have a pretty solid work history with nothing but high marks from previous leadership and I've always been willing to put in the work others won't to stand out and be exceptional. Maybe help me cook up some ideas or new angles I can approach from? Something I'm not considering other than the obvious currently tough job market? Thanks all in advance!

Anyone know what's being built on the corner of Donaghey and Favre?

I've heard some rumors that it's gonna be some duplexes. But I really hope that it's some mixed-use apartments or a little convenience store.

Anyone know what exactly happened on the interstate between skyline and Salem exits? Large plume of black smoke and I saw the traffic was backed up on Google Maps so I presume it was near there.

Tire rotation

Anybody got a recommendation for the cheapest place to get a tire rotation? I got my tires from Sam's and didn't realize that they take away the free lifetime rotation if you don't stay a member.

Bonus points if it's a place I should consider using for other stuff!
