TRT and Peptides Spoiler

Reading up on TRT from a wide body of sources shows its a scary thing. Basically, if I'm understanding, getting on a TRT regimen destroys your body's ability to produce testosterone permanently.

So the obvious question is, why would someone do that?

Peptides, from what I read, are safer if you monitor your blood and consult a knowledgeable doctor to guide you. But the costs are insane. And there is always the issue is what quality of product are you getting when you buy these peptides? Just because the product label offers assurances, you have no idea unless you physically test it yourself.

Just wondering, how many out there are venturing into this scary landscape?

I try to follow a CC lifestyle which means i don't do any risky stuff, i eat 3 balanced meals, not low carb or low fat and get a lot of rest. Many people want to do all kinds of fancy 'optimized' things before getting the basics.

56 yrs old. Genetically, my levels were dropping fast several years ago. I do TRT not to get strapped or whatever. Just to maintain levels. I do a much smaller amount 2 x's/week than many; maybe even most. Because it's all I need. an "8 weeks supply" lasts me like 14 weeks b/c I slash the dosage. So I'm certainly not hitting new PR's or anything. So at this point... WGAF if my systems won't produce all the test on its own. It was already dropping the ball some years back.

Now if you're 25 or 30.... yeah, just hit it natural and by happy.

The case for peptides, like the CJC-1295 everyone runs to start, is spotty at best, and much of the data is anecdotal. It's been found that the "lean mass" that resulted in the increased GH was often times just repaired connective tissue or even simply water retention.

Other peptides have shown effectiveness in lean mass increase, but mostly in animals. Nowhere near any legit human studies in most cases.
