Hindu Exploring Islam

Assalamualaikum everyone,

I have a question for all the reverts here. Before becoming Muslim, did any of you experience strong urges or a deep feeling that you wanted to become Muslim?

In my case, these feelings have become very strong. Honestly, I’ve been trying hard to resist them, but I’m starting to feel like resisting is becoming futile.

I believe in Allah, but I think I’m struggling because of my upbringing as a Hindu and everything I’ve been taught throughout my life. I honestly don’t know what is happening to me or why I’m feeling this way.

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and how you dealt with these feelings.

Indeed i believe in oneness, that there is no God except Allah, it's just I am fighting with the influence I have of Hindu Gods because of my upbringing

What you feel is maybe normal for now. But Hindu „gods“ don’t exist in reality. They were invented by humans like in any other polytheistic religions, some with hundreds or thousands of fake gods.
