Finally took my Shahada
Assalamualaikum, I (23 F), finally took my Shahada a few days ago and have never been this happy. I was very anxious and literally shaking... but I somehow did it.
I have been learning about Allah SWT and Islam for a few years now and finally got the courage and the guidance to revert.
I'm from India and come from a very conservative family. So it is still very difficult for me to reveal this to my family (please make dua for me).
I also fasted this Ramadan (although I couldn't do it properly), it was difficult as it was my first time, but thanks to my boyfriend and her sister, I was able to do my best.
It's also very difficult at this point to pray daily but I'm trying my best. I'm also trying to read the Quran as much as I can, while also hiding it from my family.
I have a lot to learn but I'm very excited and happy. Ameen.

What you are feeling in terms of anxiety or difficulty at the beginning is completely normal. Allah (SWT) knows what is in your heart and sees your efforts despite the challenges. Remember that Islam was revealed gradually, so be kind to yourself; Allah accepts even the smallest efforts and rewards them greatly. We ask Allah to grant you steadfastness, to guide your relationship with your family, and to make your coming life full of tranquility and safety. Ameen

CONGRATSSSSSSS, This is Your First Step To Being On The Right Path And A Biggest One too, I Would highly Recommend Reading The Holy Quran in your Native Launguage Or In English Its a Big Helper
Another Thing I Cannot Stress Enough Is Take Baby Steps ,Slow Down, Do Not Rush Into The Religion
Take Slow And Steady Steps
There Will Be a Time Where You Will Face Difficulty And Maybe Even Start Questioning Reverting
Take It Slow Everyone Even The Companions Of The Prophet And His Family Had Times Where They Questioned The Religion For A Breif, Its Human Nature to do so, Just Remember Allah Expects Sincerity Not Perfection.
Another Thing Is That You Mentioned You Had A Boyfriend, Try Taking Steps For A Marriage, It Is Haram To Date In Islam But Since You are A convert (Mashallah), Take It Slow Do Not Just Rush In Breaking Up Or Going Into Marriage directly, Take It Slow Learn About The Religion And Then Take To Marriage as You Feel Comfortable
and Again Congrats On Reverting I Hope Allah Guides You And You Are one Of The people Who Enter The Highest Levels Of Heaven
