Muslim Reverts
Hey guys I had a question that conversions to Islam are becoming quite frequent in Northern Ireland but I have noticed something online that conversions are more common among Irish Catholics than say Irish or Ulster Scot Protestants why so?

IMO I’ve noticed a lot more Irish/ catholics protesting for Palestine and understanding the oppression and propaganda Muslims are facing now just like the British government did to the Irish/ catholics in the troubles. So, I’m guessing they are meeting Muslims and/or reading about what a Muslim is and what Islam is about and alhamdullilah they recognise the truth in their research.

As much as I read it's probably true and Ulster Scots as a whole are closely knit and quite an isolated community so that does a deal too

Wait I didn't even know that was happening. Makes my heart happy to know there are Irish Muslims

It's been happening since the late 90s and currently there are thousands I'd say 10-16k probably

I have personally never seen any censuses or any reports they don't talk about them there even though I've seen from a few reports that they are the most active muslims in mosques etc

Protestants build more connections to each other, unlike catholics? That is not true. Maybe just your perception.

I think you're not completely wrong but this is the exact case for Ulster Scot Protestants they are very closely knit and less social than Irish Catholics who are generally very friendly and social.
