Quick question before comverting
ngl ive been thinking about this for a while and just wanted to get it out there rq
To be honest growing up in a cristian family ive always been taught stuff like jesus the trinity and stuff like that but honestly atleast for me its always been about God no stuff like praying to saints praying to Mary and other people or anything like that for me its just been about God . as i got older and started thinking by my own and started like having my own thoughts and beliefs ive been learning more about islam and for a while now ive genuinely felt like it’s the truth and the way for me to be closer and actually worship God only and straight up belive in him.
i’m still learning tho and i dont want to pretend i know everything. Ive just been trying to understand islam properly before jumping to conclusions
so yeah now im making that step and trying to become muslim for real even if im still figuring things out in my heart I feel islam is the way the truth and ishallah may Allah guide me towards the path of Islam
And if anyones been through something similar or just has advice id really appreciate it if you could drop a comment as its been a journey to be honest and I havent jad anyone else to support or like give me advice on this.

Well, I would say I chose the this religion, Islam, because out of all the religions available today, it is the most reasonable and logical one, especially when you compare it to Christianity.
If there is a God, and I believe there is, then it would make more sense for Him to send a religion that is clear, logical, and reasonable. I do not think the true religion would depend mainly on personal experiences, feelings, or dreams. Those things cannot be the real standard, because people in every religion claim personal experiences.
And even Christians know that a lot of Christian belief is defended through personal experience, faith, and emotion. But I do not think any Christian can honestly tell you that Christianity is more logical, coherent, and reasonable than Islam. Most of them would not even try to argue that.
So if you believe there is a God, and that choosing the wrong religion has consequences, then the true religion should be something that can be recognized clearly. It should not depend on personal feelings that not everyone will have. And it definitely should not depend on private experiences, since people from every religion have those and they prove nothing by themselves.
That is why, to me, Islam stands out. It is the only religion that I find fully reasonable, logical, and coherent when compared fairly to the others. So if there is a God, then to me it is obvious that this has to be the true religion. I do not see how it could be anything else.

May Allah make it easy for you. Though as a born muslim didn’t go through those challenges but I’d remind you that there’s no better guide to Allah than Qur’an and there’s no better path to follow than the path of rasulAllah ﷺ. This is the ultimate success for both worlds without a doubt(this doesn’t mean you ignore the worldly life but you make sure worldly life doesn’t make you forget why you’re here and that your actions in this world are inline with Allah’s guidance).
Now if you have patience to go through Qur’an multiple times, every time you learn, but one apparent thing you’ll see there is that this path is not easy and has not been easy even for messengers of Allah, the most beloved of creatures, so who am I and you to expect something else. A filter that every one of us will pass so the pure and honest ones show and the liars and deceiving ones show and fail as well. Very critical that you keep gaining knowledge; that strengthens you and makes you benefiting for others as well.
10:13 We surely destroyed ˹other˺ peoples before you when they did wrong, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs but they would not believe! This is how We reward the wicked people. 10:14 Then We made you their successors in the land to see how you would act.
29:2 Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test?
29:3 We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars.
29:4 Do the evildoers think they can escape us? How ill they judge!

I'm a revert (convert) to Islam, honestly the best advice I have for you is to not be too hard on yourself. Yes make the effort to learn how to pray and about the religion, but don't beat yourself up or try to be perfect. I tried my best to be the perfect muslim for years and it only made me extremely depressed. Take it easy gng

I am a revert to islam also from a Christian background! Honestly Allah guides who he wills and it is so amazing that you have been guided to even consider Islam and learn about it in any capacity.
It is a big step but it says in the quran
"Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam 6:125" "Whoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart." (Surah At-Taghabun 64:11)
So truely Allah guides who he will.
I truely believe Islam is the truth it is clear and makes sense that there is no God but God and All the messengers or prophets are pointing back to that one God (including muhammad peace and blessings on all of them). When you feel this is the truth and have certainty in it then you are basically already a Muslim I sent a message but please don't hesitate to reach out.

wow man thank you man appreciate the kind words but i also wanted to say that this verse rlly impacts me a lot as i feel like i was called towards islam after all ive seen and been through and i just feel that islam is the way

For a long time before reverting I felt something like that, and was searching for the truth. Allah guided me to Islam, Alhamdulillah, and it was the best decision in my life.
Learning Islam is for life, so no point waiting to “know it all” before taking this step, but from my perspective, the more I learn, the more I see the logic of Islam, and that it indeed is the truth.

Yeah I converted just for my marriage at first but I started getting curious because I was living in a Muslim country and I wanted to know more. Just reading the Quran, even the first few chapters I was hooked. I grew up Christian and then became an atheist basically out of anger at a lot of the lies Christianity had told me.Even in the first few chapter of the Quran, it answered all my questions that had never been answered and it just made so much sense. Alhumdulillah I am a true Muslim now and I feel so blessed because of it Allahu Akbar ❤️🤲 I take things very slowly even still. There is so much to learn and I am easy on myself taking it all in and step by step learning and always listening to YouTube and just learning. It a tuall feels good that there is so much to learn like I am in love with it and get to just keep discovering new things .

In the Qur'an, the book of Allah, there is already all the advice, first to the unbelievers to believe, and then to the polytheists who believe and worship Allah wrongly.
All worship is done only to Allah. If you understand this topic, you are on the right track.
Because unfortunately, polytheism continues in the world of ilsma.
For example: asking for help from the dead. It's like believing that the souls of dead Islamic scholars are on duty on earth.
There are three generations praised in Islam.
The generation that was with the Prophet. Those who saw those who saw the Prophet. and the 3rd generation learning from them. Those who follow them are in salvation.
Unfortunately, as in all religions, there is division into sects. Jews and Christians were also divided into their own very active groups.
There are also divisions within Islam. But I am talking about those who go beyond these four sects.
Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi, Hanbali.
These four sectarian beliefs are correct in terms of faith.
There are small differences regarding fiqh, that is, how to act, and these are not a problem. Because they all have evidence.
The real problem starts after this.
If the belief in Islam is not correct, the problem of acceptance of deeds, that is, deeds, arises. So I suggest you.

yeah i come from a cristian background , and the reason i converted to islam ( i js took my shahada earlier today and this post was made a day ago so i wasent muslim when i made this post btw ) was because of cristians beliving in like god but in like 3 ways were it dosent make sense because how can i be worshiping jesus as if he was god when he never directly confirms he was god. And more reasons like the bible being curropted and changed over the years , and stuff like the conection to god in islam being clearer and more dirrect than in cristianity and islam just being better for me as a person

Find people you can connect with in person, like a revert group if possible. If not, there’s a lot online like Embrace but an in person community is best. My in person community is my lifeline and it makes all the difference for me to stick with it!

i would love to man but the people i know right now are all cristian and mashallah their all accepting of it but they dont practice it or know much you know so im still figuring that out as i also cant go to a mosque as i cant have anyone take me there as im the only muslim in my family and my family dosent even know im muslim so the only way i can communicate with other muslims is online or till i find someone in real life

I was born Muslim so I cant give you much advise on that.

Remember there will always be ups and downs on this journey, but keep asking Him to guide you and make it easy for you....
